A suggested touring holiday itinerary 

 

CHOOSE THE DATES that suit you and stay with us in a really motorcycle friendly home. Enjoy a warm welcome, good hospitality and get the benefit of local knowledge and detailed advice of what to see and where to ride.

 

  

Tour the "Central Massif" Limousin, Auvergne & the Dordogne with Total flexibility  arrive any date stay as long as you like. You will see we are Ideally located in the very heart of France this is a perfect opportunity to discover the unspoilt "Hidden France" - The Massif Central :

 

PARC Naturel Regional Du Perigord-Limousin;

PARC Naturel Regional  Du Millevaches;

PARC Naturel Regional Des Volcans D'Auvergne;

Les Monedieres;

PARC Naturel Regional Du Liveradois-Forez.

We will guide you to many places of outstanding beauty as you ride with us.  Often other riders will join us on our rides.

 

Finish each day with a great home cooked meal then relax in the garden with a cold beer or glass of wine or just a mug of  proper tea and watch the sun go down. Perfect!

 

A suggest Itinerary would look something like this: (However like everything at RidersRest we remain flexible to your needs)

Day of Arrival

Arrive to a warm welcome and cold beer, settle in to your room secure your bike and enjoy a relaxing home cooked meal with ample wine and cold beer.

Day 2

Rise to an English Breakfast and then a ride up to Limoges through the twisties taking in Oradour-Sur-Glane and after Lunch the scenic route back to Ridersrest for a relaxing evening meal cold beer and wine.

Day 3

Up early for an English Breakfast and then a ride to Mary Peak in the Cantal Region of France with a visit to Castle de Val, Sealers, Aurillac,  then returning to a relaxing evening meal cold beer and wine
Day 4

Start the day with a cooked English Breakfast, then enjoy a  rideout on some exceptional biking roads visiting 9 Chateaux along the river Dordogne. Back to Ridersrest for a BBQ some cold beer and relax

Day 5  Early rise for a Ride down to Millau Bridge and back (long day) Great roads and fantastic views taking in the Gorges du Lot. Return to Ridersrest for a well deserved cold beer and meal.
Day 6 A slow day today with a ride to Egletons on the amazing D16 then down to Argentat on the River Dordogne Beauleau sur Dordogne and Collonges la Rouge and back for a relaxing evening or another BBQ.
Day 7  Today why not ride out to Rocamadour taking in the now familiar grippy twisty roads with their great views and back again for another one of Wendy's superb home cooked meals.

The ride destinations are not fixed so if there are places you want to go and see that will

Also if you are a solo rider who joins a ride with a group already staying at RidersRest then the price is the same as the group. If you are unsure please email for a quote we are flexible and often you will be included in our special offer if you book tours at the same time as you book your accommodation with us even if you are a solo rider...

 

If you are not sure that you want to include Guided Tours when you book but change your mind once you arrive then we are happy to Guide you and have flexible daily charges so you can opt in as and when it pleases you...  prices for this are below
