Wendy aka La-Bella-Wendy
Whilst biking is not something I have been constantly involved with it has certainly gotten under my skin of late.

As a girl I was a bit of a "Tom boy" always following my brothers around and generally getting into what I shouldn't
Like Tony I spent time riding the same old scooter we had acquired over the tank ranges. I was always impressed with motorbikes as a form of transport in 1970's.

I rode pillion on my brother Ron's Triumph Trident, his pride and joy, touring through Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

2004 saw a big revival of my biking life and I thoroughly enjoy the freedom of being on the open roads - So much so that I agreed to a Harley Tour in the USofA for our Honeymoon (another story) -

In 2006 I passed my bike test and am now the proud owner or a Honda CB500S and have toured Wales riding it. My dream is to find a suitable bike to meet my height needs...

Moving to france and being able to offer B&B to like minded bikers is like a dream come true because we get to ride and socialise with bikers for a living ;)

Tony aka Nomad
Biking is in my blood - I was introduced to bikes from an early age by my father who like most "Lads" in the 50's/60's relied on bikes as their only means of transport and the image it portrayed (Rock 'n' Roll).

After joining the Royal Marines in 1974 and completing my first draft to 41 Cdo I purchased my first bike, a Green Honda CB250G for £360 off a mate, I fell off within 100 yards, I was distracted by a pigeon, my first crash... I went on to complete a Royal Marines Despatch Riders course in 1978 in Poole Dorset, passing my test and learning a great deal about riding bikes on and off road (On Bovington Tank Ranges again).

Since then I have only been bike-less for approx 5 years when the kids arrived, but soon found that I had to have one to keep me sane. The sense of freedom, the open roads, the fresh air, and the challenge of riding distances and battling the UK weather are all part of the thrill.

In August 1990 I toured France, Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Lichtenstein and Monaco in 10 days two up with camping equipment on an E Reg BMW K100RS.

I toured Southern India on a Royal Enfield Bullet 350 for charity in 2004, and rode to Turkey and Back with Wendy as Pillion in 2006
